'Standing Here'
LIVE VERSION
Performance notes:
It pains me to think the recording/footage of this tune from Blackpool (as well as Sally Cinnamon) is sitting in a Silvertone vault somewhere as I've heard/seen the bootleg copy of the concert which it is on and it sounds totally huge. The song kicks off with a reverb that can only be described as GIGANTIC! It's a strat tune this one with the usual combo - fuzz and chorus. As the song kicks in the reverb is changed to a more sensible amount. The live version rocks all the way through with the fuzz on all the way to the end section. For the end section Squire loses the fuzz and goes for a warbly sound witht the addition of the flanger. Again there is no change in pickup's, it's bridge pickup all the way through.
