Performance notes:
Again another classic tune played with the Gretsch. Alternatively a hollowbody guitar with humbucking pickups will do. A big reverb sound at the start with the slightly overdriven sound for the intro and 1st verse. The lead channel on the boogie is activated for the main guitar riff during the chorus and proceeding verse parts. Squire seems to flick to his supertron pickup for the thick sound during these bits. Just after the guitar solo Squire steps on the flanger for the middle 8 bit to give it some extra intensity. During various parts of the song (verses mostly) a shallower reverb is used.
