FOLLOWING THEIR defeat in the recent High Court case, Stone Roses' former label Silvertone are releasing a re-packaged of the band's only album to date. On vinyl it will come out in a limited edition as two records in a gatefold sleeve (a limited edition of 50,000), while the CD and cassette versions will include the singles Elephant Stone and Fool's Gold as extra tracks. It's understood that the impetus for this possibly provocative ploy comes from the Silvertone's parent company Zomba, desirous of a few bob back on their investment if at all possible.
