Is the sun yes
The size of a beach ball
The earth shall be the size of a sweet, sweet pea
Let it be as it goes, blow your nose
Yeah, yeah, yeah I hear you, I hear you calling
Electric lightning lights the night until the morning
I caught you stalling on me every day, no way
It's the moon yes
That turns the tides
On the ocean bed a starfish starts to slide
Into the sand the way it planned right on time
I can see the sunshine in the rain
It's all be done before, that's what she says
I can see you got the sunshine in the rain
I can see the sunshine in the rain
It's all be done before, that's what she says
I can see you got the sunshine in the rain
I can see the sunshine in the rain
It's all be done before, that's what she says
I can see you got the sunshine in the rain

Details:
Sunshine was a vocal melody originating from the Second Coming sessions, with Brown on acoustic guitar and programmed drums. The opening verse was influenced by Brown's son, Frankie's, 'Book Of Knowledge'. The tune of the opening verse has parallels with that of Little Wing by Hendrix, a track Brown has covered live.
The end of Sunshine contains an extract from the 'espionage' sketches of Trigger Happy TV. Dom Joly would later direct Brown’s Golden Gaze video.
