Stellify

Yeah the first time
When you are stellified
Could be the last chance
I have to sanctify
So save the last dance
For me my love 'cause I
I see you as an angel freshly
Fallen from the sky

Heard your first words
Before I saw your eyes
Fell from your sweet lips
With you I stellify
So save the last dance
For me my love 'cause I
I see you as an angel
Freshly fallen from the sky

I made a shrine, I made it for you
I see you are an angel
All the things that you do
And now I've found tomorrow
With you I'm miles high
Shining like a diamond
in the darkness of the sky

I stellify
I'm miles high
I stellify

And so we're miles above
Our ribbon in the sky
And it's the real love
I see so in your eyes
So save the last dance
For me my love 'cause I
I see you as an angel freshly
Fallen from the sky

I made a shrine
That stands here for you
I see you are an angel
All the things that you do
No one knows tomorrow
The future stands to find
This rocket starts ablazing so for you
I stellify

I stellify
I'm miles high
I stellify

Yeah the first time
When you are stellified
Could be the last chance
I have to sanctify
So save the last dance
For me my love 'cause I
I see you as an angel freshly
Fallen from the sky

I made a shrine
With candles for you
I see you are an angel
All the things that you do
Now I've found tomorrow
with you I stellify
Throw my arms above
'Cause now I fly and touch the sky

I stellify
I'm miles high
I stellify

Top row: Ian Brown often claims in interviews that he and Dave McCracken were asked to write a song for Rihanna - Stellify - but decided to keep it for himself (I have yet to see confirmation of this from other sources). At the 2008 Oxegen festival, Ian sang a snippet of Rihanna's Umbrella: Now that it's raining more than ever / Know that we'll still have each other / Said I'd always be your friend. (Ian sang the second of these lines as "You can tickle me with a feather"). In an NME October 2009 feature, Ian interviewed hip-hop mogul Jay-Z, whose "Comin' down like the Dow Jones" lyric from Umbrella is pilfered by Ian on Illegal Attacks ("Down with the Dow Jones, up on the NASDAQ").
Second & third rows: The deep red tone within one of John Squire's 2011 Celebrity artworks prompted him to name the work 'Rihanna' (ink & oil on canvas, 70cm x 90cm), thoughtful of the Barbadian singer's fiery red hair.
Bottom row: "We Roc-A-Fella..."

"And so we're miles above our ribbon in the sky" is very close to "Striding through the clouds on my ribbon in the sky", from Tightrope.
