Details:
Golden Gaze, the weakest of the album's three singles, draws inspiration from 'Golden Lady' by Stevie Wonder.

'Golden Lady' is to be found on Stevie Wonder's 1973 LP, 'Innervisions'.

"Having completed the tune, it still sounded somehow ordinary, though powerful - it needed to become psychedelic. Luckily for me I got Steve Fitzmaurice to mix it. I'd heard Steve 'cause he'd done Seal's records, and he was recommended and gave me the sound exactly as requested. Thanks, Steve."
