Chronology



This section of the site aims to document the activity of The Stone Roses in the context of contemporary developments in music, politics, culture and society. Ian MacDonald's 'Revolution in the Head: The Beatles' Records and the Sixties' provided the inspiration for this section. It is broken down into three parts:

- prior to the band's formation in 1984
- from 1984 until their split in 1996
- during their respective post-Roses careers (1997 - present)
